Week 39 - Race to the Finish Line

We're in week 39 of the construction and remodeling of the Fellowship.  Work is going very fast.

NB: Our first service in the new sanctuary will be in January... we hope!

Have you ever wondered how many hours are invested in remodeling and construction our building?


  • Jacob Perkins, a Milo Construction employee, has spent 1,097 hours since the beginning of the project.  This week he was in charge of cleanup and trash removal.
  • KC Drywall has drywalled the lobby area and the south wing.  They have taped and mudded the west wing:  352 hours so far.
  • Major Mechanical has been building mechanical ducting for heat pumps and ERVs (Energy Recovery Ventilator).  They have also insulated all of the mechanical ducting:  1,638 hours.
  • Mountain Insulation has insulated the lobby area and kitchen walls and blew in the sanctuary ceiling:  505 hours.
  • Mountain States Framing:  Finished tongue and groove on clerestory windows in the sanctuary and started on the siding outside of the sanctuary:  3,450 hours.
Total number of hours for all contractors:  14,995.25.
